Vintage Cream Leather Coat with Fur by Donald Brooks

A striking vintage Donald Brooks statement coat in soft cream beige, often described as vanilla, with dramatic blush fox fur across the front. The fur has a subtle natural pink undertone rather than a dyed pink finish. Sculpted shoulder pads and bold V shaped detailing across the front and back give the silhouette the confident proportions of late 1970s to early 1980s fashion.
 
This is 1980s maximalist glamour in a refined palette: a distinctive designer piece for someone who prefers presence over passing trends. The coat was acquired by its original owner at Saks Fifth Avenue.  Only worn a few times, it remains in excellent, beautifully preserved condition.
